Welcome to Grow Antenatal

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by pregnancy and birth, and the extraordinary journey women go through to become mothers. After completing my Anthropology degree at Durham University, with a focus on women's health, I worked in a variety of roles with young people and families in challenging circumstances. After leaving the world of work to have my son, I made the decision to retrain in an area I was truly passionate about, and spent the next two years training in Antenatal & Doula Education with NCT & the University of Worcester. Since then I have been lucky enough to train with Sophie Fletcher at Mindful Mamma Hypnobirthing, and Molly O’Brien at Biomechanics for Birth.

I believe that when women are listened to, respected, and supported

to make their own decisions, then they will have a positive birth experience. I aim to help women - and their partners - feel prepared for the journey ahead of them, and to ensure that they feel nurtured, loved, and empowered by their pregnancy and birth experiences.

Based near Sedgefield, Durham; I cover the whole of the North East and parts of North Yorkshire.
